Foal Nomination Programm (FNP)

Pay once for your foal and secure a lifetime eligibility to compete in NRHA Germany events!

Since the 2019 foal crop, all foals that wish to compete in the NRHA Germany Breeders Futurity for three- and four-year-old horses or the NRHA Breeders Derby for five-year-old and older horses must be nominated. It doesn’t matter whether the sire has been nominated or not. The only difference is the nomination fee for the foal.

Example: If you nominate a weanling, and the sire was nominated during the SSP payment year (= year of birth minus 2 years), you can secure a lifetime nomination for just €150. If the sire was not nominated during the SSP payment year, the amount increases to €300 for your weanling.

Here are the nomination fees based on the age of the horse and the sire’s nomination status during the SSP payment year:

StallionService Programm (SSP)

Important for Stallion Owners and Breeders!

The nomination fee for a stallion in the SSP is €500 per year.
The nomination period begins in October (after the Breeders Futurity) and ends on July 31 of the respective breeding year.

Example:
2017: SSP year – Stallion nomination
2018: Breeding year of the mare
2019: Birth year of the foal – from now on, foals must also be nominated in the FNP
2022: Eligible to compete in the Breeders Futurity as a 3-year-old
2023: Eligible to compete in the Breeders Futurity as a 4-year-old
2024: Eligible to compete in the Breeders Derby from this point onwards
